The gap is real and city leaders have acknowledged it directly. The response — a 1,700-square-foot office suite in Cummings Park donated temporarily by a private landlord — underscores just how little purpose-built civic gathering space the city actually has.

 

The Community Resource Center is explicitly described as a "pilot program," dependent on a donated space that was not designed for community use.
